For many years, I was an in-house marketing director. I had a thousand deadlines, people pounding at my door, and zero mind space to think creatively. I also had a few treasured consultants. They gave me expert advice, top-notch work, and made me look good.

One – who was a former legal editor – would send me beautifully-written, persuasive copy crafted from boring, complicated material. How’d he do that?!

Another was a magician…she turned a million details into easy-to-follow project plans and never let anything fall through the cracks.

I want to do for you what they did for me…make you shine! I want to be that consultant whom you rely on to deliver top-notch work, fresh ideas, actionable advice, and confidence.

Since launching Impactualize in 2016, it’s been my mission to learn and share all I can about the overlapping worlds of CSR, sustainability, social enterprise, ESG and impact investing, and cross-sector collaboration. I believe all these strategies are necessary to help propel humanity towards a better world for all. Happily, I’ve met a lot of like-minded people who have been generous with their time and experience. This knowledge — combined with 20+ years in marketing and communications — gives me the tools to help you grow your purpose-driven business.

PS…here are a few of my stories

During high school, I was an exchange student and lived with a family by the Sea of Marmara in Istanbul, Turkey. Dondurma (ice cream) was my favorite food.

After College, I moved home to Richmond, Virginia (RVA for those in the know) where I was an event planner during the week and a white-water raft guide on the weekends.

I took a sabbatical from my firm to do volunteer conservation work near Kruger National Park in South Africa. Once, a mother elephant charged me…luckily there was a fence between us.

Bonus…I worked for Sam Donaldson – former ABC News White House correspondent and news anchor. Best boss ever!
