A SPECIAL MESSAGE:
At its most basic, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) means that companies operate in a way that enhances their social, economic and environmental impacts on society. CSR strategies help companies create long-term value for all of their stakeholders.
But, we can’t talk about CSR without acknowledging that we are living in extraordinary times.
A pandemic that has sickened millions and killed hundreds of thousands continues to rage through the world, affecting disadvantaged communities many times more than affluent ones. There is enormous civil unrest and protest in the US – and spreading globally — shining a light on racism in all its forms and specifically on the killing of black men and women by police. We are facing an ever-increasing number of environmental disasters brought on by climate change. Unemployment, extreme economic hardship, deep societal divisions, and mistrust abound.
We must meet these challenges with all we have…working together, working hard, working with compassion for all.
And, things are happening! Companies, nonprofits, and individuals are quickly adapting to the moment. They’re rolling out audacious ideas in record time. Creating a more just future for all is starting to mean something. Ready to get involved? Let’s talk.
